Whilst you can browse our entire catalogue at any time, you'll need a Username and Password to access pricing for individual products (go to the Client Login to register or to log in).  Once you have this access, ordering beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages is easy:

1.   Searching our Catalogue:

You can browse our Catalogue to find beverages a number of different ways:

  • type a keyword into the Search field and press the 'Find' button
  • click on the arrow next to the 'Choose a Category' text to identify products by style
  • select the Advanced Search feature to find items by:
    • any word or phrase
    • Category (such as Red Wine, Light Beer, Spirits, etc.)
    • Supplier
    • Regions - both Australian and International wine regions
    • State - and for non-Australian products, Country
    • Price (you need to have logged in to get this option)
  • search results are returned in a way very similar to Google.  When you identify a product you'd like more information on, simply select the link.  (You'll also notice the image in the middle of the page changes as you move your mouse over the individual products).

2.   Selecting Products to Purchase:

When you find a product you'd like to purchase, you simply define the quantity you'd like to order (being aware of how many units make up that particular 'case'), then select the 'Add' link (or Shopping Trolley image) to add that item to your Cart.

You can then return to browsing the catalogue a number of different ways - by selecting the Back button to the lower right of the screen, by the Catalogue Menu options, or via the Search or Catalogue options at the top of the page.

Repeat the process until you've selected all of your desired products.

3.   Making Your Purchase:

Once you've completed your shopping, simply select the 'Checkout' option beneath the Cart symbol, or via the menu bar in the top right corner of the shopping page (this section also provides an update of the number of items in your Cart).  You will then be redirected to a page summarising your Cart contents and providing you with a range of options, including the ability to make adjustments to the contents and quantities, as well as a total dollar amount of your purchases.

You also have the ability to add more items (by selecting the 'Continue Shopping' button), or completely clearing your Cart and starting again (by selecting the 'Reset Cart' button).

Once you are satisfied with your order, select the 'Place Order' button.  Once you confirm your billing and delivery details, your order will be sent to ABABCO for confirmation once you click on the 'Order Now' button.

You will then be taken to a screen that shows your Order History, and provides an Order Number and the Status of your order.  This information can be accessed at any time to review progress.

4.   Payment Methods:

Given the international nature of this service, ABABCO must confirm your payment credentials, the logistics and associated details of your order prior to processing it.  You can make your purchases a number of different ways:

  • Credit Card:  when we contact you to confirm your order, we will ask for your credit card details.  This will be done via the telephone, reducing the risk of fraud, and we will quote your Order Number to confirm our authenticity.
  • Account:       if you plan to be a regular user of ABABCO, you can make a request to establish an account when registering.  Orders will then be invoiced on our normal trading terms.

5.   Delivery Options:

A key differentiator between ABABCO and other on-line stores is the 'human' element of our operation.  Not only will we personally contact you to confirm your order, and satisfaction with our service, we'll endeavour to offer you flexibility and options with the most difficult aspect of an international trading venture - the delivery.

International:

We recognise that you may already have a freight forwarder or transport partner in place for shipments out of Australia, in which case, we'll work with them.

Alternatively, if you don't and would like us to get quotes to deliver your order to wherever you specify, we'll do so.  Simply include this request in the section seeking Extra Information when completing the Order process.

Domestic:

Once you provide your delivery details as a part of your Order, we'll calculate the freight cost and quote that to you as a part of our follow-up process.

6.  Product Unavailability:

Whilst all information on the ABABCO website is kept current and up-to-date, we cannot control the inventory holdings of our numerous suppliers.  There may be remote instances therefore where a product you order is for some reason, unavailable for supply. 

Should this ever occur, we will advise you accordingly when we contact you to confirm your Order.  We will explain the reason for the unavailability, and recommend comparable alternatives for your consideration.

Whilst the chances of this occurring are remote, the ABABCO team will do all we can to satisfy your requirements.
